In 1996, Ian founded AME with a vision for the business. Thirty years later, we're proud to be celebrating three decades of growth, technical expertise and working with customers to bring ideas to life.

Reaching 30 years in business is a milestone worth celebrating. But it's about more than the number. It's about the people who have been part of the journey, the relationships we've built and the trust our customers have placed in us along the way.

Celebrating 30 years

To mark the occasion, we recently brought together family, friends, current colleagues and former colleagues for a surprise celebration in Ian's honour.

It was a fantastic evening, with a brilliant turnout and a real sense of what AME means to the people who have been part of its story. Seeing so many people from different stages of the business come together was a reminder that a company's history is built by the people behind it.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this special milestone.

Built on relationships and expertise

Over the past 30 years, AME has continued to develop its expertise, adapt to new technologies and support customers with increasingly varied and complex requirements.

From the early days of the business to the work we undertake today, our focus has remained on helping customers solve problems, develop products and turn concepts into reality.

The manufacturing and engineering landscape has changed considerably over three decades, and we've continued to evolve alongside it. What remains just as important is the knowledge, flexibility and commitment of the people behind the work.

Reaching this milestone wouldn't have been possible without the people who have supported AME over the years.

To our customers, thank you for trusting us with your projects, returning to us with new challenges and allowing us to be part of your product development and manufacturing journey.

To our current and former colleagues, thank you for the skills, dedication and hard work you've contributed to the business.

And to our suppliers, partners, friends and everyone else who has supported us along the way, thank you for being part of the AME story.

Every relationship has played a part in getting us to where we are today, and we don't take that support for granted.

Looking ahead

While we're taking a moment to reflect on the last 30 years, we're just as excited about what comes next.

We'll continue building on our experience, developing our capabilities and helping customers overcome engineering and manufacturing challenges.

Thirty years is a significant achievement, but it's also an opportunity to look forward to the next chapter.
