Helping Arquella bring revolutionary care home technology to the market with Rapid Prototyping.

Arquella utilised our 3D printing techniques to test, develop and create the hardware for their innovative nurse call system. Using Selective Laser Sintering & Stereolithography 3D technologies, we created the first physical prototype of the product. 

Medical Device Prototyping

Now AME-3D supports  Arquella with the low volume production of the call system and accessories. Benefitting from our flexibility, Arquella can order on-demand, getting low volumes of parts produced whenever they need them. Saving time, money & storage space within their facilities.

Since its first 3D printed prototype was presented to UK nursing homes, there have been:   

  • Over 100 units installed, with further agreements for many more  
  • Bluetooth and non-location pendants launched  to accompany call system
